The idea of marriage and parenting have changed so much in the past several years. One reason for this, recently, is due to the redefinition of marriage in the Supreme Court right now. This video here is of a young girl defending marriage between a man and a woman, and I love her question at the end of it. "What parent do i not need? My mom or my dad?"
This isn't implying that one of her parent will be taken away from her, as the person who posted this video might have assumed she meant, but it is for those in the future who have two parents of the same gender - what gender is better or more qualified than the other to take care of a child?
